This is a fast-paced heart-pounding read that will keep you flipping pages until you’re done. The chapters are short and are told from various perspectives. Do Not Disturb brings us back into Deanna’s twisted world. She’s a cam girl by day and a huntress suppressing her needs at night. She has taken to locking herself in her apartment to suppress her need to kill. But things have changed for Deanna. In The Girl in 6E, she got a taste of what freedom was like, what the stars looked like, how things could be different. This time around Deanna has a boyfriend and tries leading a somewhat normal life, occasionally at least.
Enter Marcus. Marcus is a twisted son-of-a-bitch. He is on house arrest, recently released from prison for some awful crimes. Now he is one of Deanna’s new cam clients. Until she gets a weird vibe, has Mike her hacker buddy check him out and blocks him. Marcus is not one to be denied. After obsessing about JessReilly19 the entire time he is on house arrest, Marcus sets out to find her and make her pay as soon as he is free. But Marcus has no idea who he is dealing with.
With twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat, A.R. Torre does it again! If you liked The Girl in 6E, then you’ll enjoy this one too. The story captivates you right from the start. Be prepared for a wild ride.
