#HoHoHoRAT Wrap Up

Hohohorat wrap up

From November 12th -November 17th I participated in the #HoHoHoRat hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Review and Jennifer from BookShelfery. It wasn’t a complete week, yet I managed to read 3 books. I posted my TBR for the read-a-thon and I actually managed to read some of the books I planned on reading. Right at the beginning of the read-a-thon my #otspsecretsister completely surprised me by giving me Winter by Marissa Meyer. I read as much as I could that night, but then I restrained myself and put it down to pick up books that I set aside for the 12th – 17th.

Day 1 November 12th

I started reading If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I read 215 pages.

Day 2 November 13th

This was a tough day of the read-a-thon for me because I spent 11 hours doing homework. I managed to read 21 pages of a book for school, the last 19 pages of If I Stay (completing my 1st #HoHoHoRat book!) and read the first 25 pages of Where She Went by Gayle Forman. Total of 65 pages for day 2.

Day 3 November 14th

I read the rest of Where She Went by Gayle Forman (235 pages) meaning I finished my 2nd book of the read-a-thon and started Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (35 pages). Total of 270 pages for day 3.

Day 4 November 15th

Shiver 97 pages.

Day 5 November 16th

Shiver 93 pages.

Day 6 November 17th

Shiver 130 pages. ** I technically finished reading the remaining 54 pages of Shiver after midnight, completing my 3rd and final book of the #HoHoHoRat.

Grand total of 870 pages during the read-a-thon, and 54 additional pages to complete my last book.

I participated in some of the challenges as well. My favorites were the “Name That Book” challenge and the “Draw It Out” challenge. A huge thank you to both hosts and all of the challenge hosts that participated and made it so much fun. I was unable to participate in the Twitter party because of class, but I hope everyone enjoyed it. Did you participate? What books did you read?
